Group show at Kunstarkaden, Munich, Germany, November 19 – December 21, 2024, with Anna Livia Dörr, Veronika Günther, and Niloufar Shirani.

In the installation ”The end”, fabrics are hanging from a steel wire rope that diagonally traverses the room, gradually narrowing the visitors’ path as they walk along. The text fragments on the fabrics are taken from songs by Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen, and others. Plucked from different contexts, the fragments nevertheless revolve around common themes of transience, loss, and an uncertain future.

The marker drawings on acrylic glass show (from left to right) Harry Belafonte and Sidney Poitier laughing at a reception, Miles Davis with his custom-made trumpet right after his comeback in the early 1980s, a piece of found text that reads ”Another time“, and Grace Jones posing for the cover of her album ”Nightclubbing.”
